Dear Ladies / Gentlemen,
many of you asked us whether it'll be safe putting Advertisements / browsing them from January '09.
Big question, many thoughts, simple answer: Yes.
We (as in escort-date.eu) are not related to the country norway in any judicial way. Buying Sex will be forbidden - and we do not support that either, the Service we offer from January first 2009 will be normal Meetings with our dignified Ladies / Gentlemen, we're
not responsible for what happens on that Meetings, so no one of you has to be afraid of any problematic issues.
Some additional Information - our Server is being hosted in Poland, this is the only country that does
not support the law of investigation by sensitive Computer Data (as in Forum Postings, IP Logs, E-Mails [..]) of the Police.
In short words: We'll be offering the same service for you as we did before. You're not in need of any IP-Hiding Software like Torpark or things like that. (Note: This is essential for this Forum only, I'm not sure about a Forum hosted in Norway!)
This information comes from our lawyer who is specialized on that kind of sensitive things.
Still, a very relaxing Christmas!
Best Regards,
Nils
/edit:
Woops, I replaced selling with buying, that was my mistake, sorry.

That means we can discuss regularely as normal, without being afraid of police knocking on our doors?
I mean, a massage may cost money, if that's ending up in Sex, and I was just paying for the massage it's not a problem, right?
Greetings

Exactly. The Girls are not offering Sex anymore. If anyone offers a Massage / Strip that may not be a problem. As long as no one charges another one for Sex this will be 100% legal!
Best Regards

Of course you don't support that... that would just be wrong! It is important to notice that
selling sexual services will still be perfectly legal, none of the girls can in any way be fined or punished for this. It is
only buying these types of services that is made illegal with the new law. So only the customers, the men, are in risk of anything. Very important to know for all the girls offering services.
Nils Wrote:Placing Contact-ADs is not forbidden as long as this is done in a way that is not visible offering Sex.
This (ads directly offering sex = forbidden) is probably true if your company and/or server is in Norway. Not sure if this matters for any practical purposes if everything (company, server etc) is abroad. I can understand that you guys want to be on the safe side, though.
Important notice: The girls placing the ads don't risk anything no matter where the company or website is based, and no matter how direct the ad is about sex, by the same principle as above (selling is still legal). Only the buyer of services and the company providing the ads are in any legal risk. You should make this very clear to your advertisers.
Now, I'm no lawyer, so check things out by yourselves before you do anything that may be important to your company or your advertisers. But I think it would be a good service to provide your advertisers with a standard, written legal brief when they place an ad on your website. For example, what can/should a girl with an ad do if the police come knocking on the door? As far as I've heard, the only two things that the police can (by law) demand to see is her identity card and the paper that shows that she is staying in the country in a legal way (tourist visa etc). If the police wants to know more, look around in the apartment, look at other papers like rental contract for the apartment, the money she has and so on, they have to get a search warrant. They can tell her to come to the police station for questions, but also there she only has to answer about the two things mentioned above.
With the new law the police might be interested in listening in on the phone conversations the girl has to get evidence on the customers. The girl has to specifically agree to let the police do this type of phone surveilance before they can go ahead with it. The police can not demand this to happen, even if the girl has done something else wrong. Remember that she is doing nothing wrong if she is selling sexual services and if she stays in a rented apartment she will have to change this apartment soon anyway, as the police can not legally allow someone to rent out their apartment to a girl for such a purpose. Girls should tell the police 'No!' to this request.

But what we should say to the girls when we call?
If I, for example, will say that I want massage and when she comes I'll try to get something more and she says 'No'!?
Well, that's a good point, indeed.
Though, you have to be a bit more discrete on the telephone, the girls will still know what you're wanting them for, be sure of that. Just be a bit creative.. ;-)
